Library card applications are at the circulation desks of the Quechee and Wilder Libraries. Library cards are free and can be used to access our physical and digital resources!
Quechee/Wilder Library Card Basics
- We do not have residency requirements!
- The form you will be asked to fill out asks for contact information – email address, phone number, and a mailing address. We need one good way to contact you, so if you do not have all of those, please still come in.
- In-person registration can be done at either Quechee or Wilder. If you are not able to sign up in person for accessibility reasons, please call or email.
- Cards will be honored at the other Town of Hartford libraries in Hartford Village and in West Hartford.
We have pick up bins at the side door at Quechee Library and on the porch at the Wilder Club and Library where materials can be left after hours. Call or email to request! Patrons are also welcome to request pick up at the Bugbee Senior Center and drop off books at the White River Junction Red Co-Op.
We offer home delivery of materials which can be requested by phone or email.
Using the Online Catalog
The online catalog can be accessed HERE to search through our available titles!
You can also see E-Books and Audio Books that are available through Libby and movies available through Kanopy. More info on those resources can be found on our Digital Resources page.
To place books on hold or renew books, you can log-in using your full library card number (2VSPI…) and your password/PIN is the last 5 digits of your library card number.
Quechee/Wilder Libraries are part of a state-wide consortium of 56 Vermont Libraries! This means that, in addition to seeing items that we own, you can also see items owned by other libraries. If there is a title you would like from another library, we are happy to request it through Inter-Library Loan! And, staff can borrow for you from all Vermont libraries, so even if you don’t see the title you are looking for at another library, you can still ask!
