Quechee/Wilder Library Cards are available to all, free of charge, upon in-person registration. The cards will be honored at the other Town of Hartford libraries in Hartford Village and in West Hartford.
We have pick up bins at the side door at Quechee Library and on the porch at the Wilder Club and Library. Just request items me left in a bin when helpful. Patrons are also welcome to request pick up at the Upper Valley Food Co-op and the Bugbee Senior Center. We are pleased to have these partnerships to bring our library services directly to WRJ residents.
Supported by the Town of Hartford, the Friends of the Quechee/Wilder Libraries, fundraising, donations and grants, the libraries strive to provide services to all. Please join us in our efforts. https://www.quecheeandwilderlibraries.com/home/?page_id=137

****VOKAL & Optimum Catalog Use with ASPEN
As a member of the VOKAL consortium of 56 Vermont Libraries, Quechee/Wilder Libraries share a catalog and circulation system called koha. As of November 2022 we have enriched the patron experience of our catalog with Aspen. It is now possible to see all formats of titles (print versions and electronic ones), Kanopy and Overdrive/Libby, ratings and reviews, readily place holds and make personal lists. Enjoy and ask staff for help in gaining familiarity.
An advantage of VOKAL is that patrons can see items from all the member libraries. Remember that the staff can still borrow for you from all Vermont libraries, not only VOKAL members. Continue to just ask for what you don’t see. Interlibrary loans are a free service. However, a patron must have exhibited a good borrowing history prior to requests.
What: The OneCard is a project of Upper Valley Vermont libraries to allow patrons to use their home library card to borrow materials directly from any participating library. Patrons receive the card according to home library requirements but are subject to borrowing regulations of loaning libraries. Where: Participating libraries are: Quechee, Wilder, Hartford, Hartland, Norwich, Fairlee, Bradford, Corinth, Chelsea, Windsor and Ascutney. Who: Adult patrons (17 and over) of Quechee/ Wilder Libraries with a minimum 3 month borrowing history in good standing. How: Stop in at Q/W Libraries to get the OneCard sticker for your library card. Any materials borrowed must be returned to the owning library by the patron.
